'Doc' is the team founder. He is responsible for administration and team operations. He holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and has retired as Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Minnesota State University-Mankato where he served as Director of the Clinical Psychology Program where he trained psychologists in research and clinical practice in Behavioral Medicine. He remains in limited practice at Riverview Clinic in Mankato, MN. He is committed to the educational, personal and social development of his hockey players. In addition to his role with the Ice Hawks, he is an avid traveler and most importantly a full time grandpa of five.

Nancy manages the team budget and the event staff on game days. Professionally, Nancy holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and is retired from MSU-Mankato as Emeritus Professor of Psychology: She was active in research and training in the areas of child behavior disorders, fetal alcohol syndrome and developmental disabilities. She recently also retired from private practice at Riverview Clinic, Mankato, MN. Her interest in hockey is rooted in her Canadian upbringing. She followed the ‘Original Six’ growing up in Sault Ste. Marie and Toronto Canada. Nancy is the proud grandmother of Daytin (12), Kasota (11), Colette (8), Alex (7) and baby Evan (3).
Jeff Boehmer Public Relations / Assistant to GM / Event Operations / Voice of the Ice Hawks

Jeff has been the "Voice of the Ice Hawks" for 5 years . He also serves as the Ice Hawks Public Relations manager, and Event Coordinator. Jeff hails from Shakopee, MN and has made Rochester his home for the past decade. He is a graduate of Brown with a degree in Broadcasting/Communications. He has served as the DJ for the Rochester Honkers, Fox Country 102.5, Laser 101.7 and 1270AM KWEB. Aside from his busy Ice Hawks schedule, Jeff finds time to manage the popular Minnesota team sports apparel shop Goldys Lockerroom, located in the Apache Mall. Jeff met his wife, Ice Hawks Administrative assistant Kasey (Brown) Boehmer, at an Ice Hawks game and they got married on April 9th, 2011! One week after Nationals! Congrats to Jeff and Kasey!

Kasey serves as the assistant to the GM for game day operations, as well as taking on a variety of duties away from game-day and when hosting camps. She is married to Jeff Boehmer, fellow assistant to the GM and Voice of the Ice Hawks. They married April 9
th, 2011, in a wedding that featured many hockey moments, such as the goal horn during their first kiss as husband and wife! Kasey graduated in December from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor degree in political science, and away from her duties with the Ice Hawks, she now works at the Mayo Clinic in the Knowledge and Evaluation Research Unit. Kasey plans to begin pursing a master of public health degree in health policy within the next year.

Nicky has been with the Ice Hawks since the fall of 1998. She has served in a variety of roles. Currently she works on special projects and community relations. Nicky is the mother of three children, Colette, Alex and Evan and is married to Coach Nick Fatis.

Dawn joins the Ice Hawks as Housing Director. Dawn and her family have been a long time host family for the Ice Hawks. She is a Minnesota native having spent her childhood and young adult years in Wanamingo, MN. Dawn moved to Rochester in 1996. Professionally, Dawn works for the Mayo Clinic in the Department of Development. She is married to Van Larson, has a 25 year old stepson, Nick and an 13 year old son, Hunter who is playing at the Bantam level this year.

Jim is a native of Rochester and graduated from John Marshall H. S. He obtained a degree in Park and Recreation Administration from the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse. He was a multi-sport athlete and played intramural hockey in college. Jim has been in sales and marketing management for over 30 years and recently started his own marketing business called Med City Alliance.
Jim's interest in the Ice Hawks started several years ago when his nephew Jay Gorman played on the team. He and his wife Kathy have three adult children: both daughters Angie and Emily and their families live in Mankato and his son Scott is on his second four year tour as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. They are also proud grandparents of four, Kabe, Clementine, Max and Uriah.

Darren is a third year Hawks fan and although not a professional photographer, he has been taking pictures since he was 13. Hope and Darren live in Waseca and have two grown children; Nicole who lives in Chicago, IL and is a Professor of Photography for the Art Institute, and Shelby who will be attending college in Mankato for Digital Web and Animation Design. Darren has been a Police Officer for almost 25 years, 22 years currently with the City of Albert Lea. Darren had never watched a complete hockey game until starting to watch the Hawks and have been hooked ever since. Darren looks forward to sharing his pictures with the fans!

Shawn came to the Ice Hawks during the 2008 season when he and his wife Amber temporarily housed a hockey player in a pinch. From that moment on, Shawn and Amber were hooked on the Ice Hawks. The couple started to house full time for the 2009-2010 season. Shawn is employeed by Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, in the Ophthalmology department as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. During mid season of 2010, Shawn and Amber welcomed a new addition to their family 2 days after the Family Night at the Rec Center, their son Aiden Russell. Aiden loves going to the hockey games, where he can be seen rooting for his favorite player with his mom and dad! Shawn assumed the responisibility to maintain and update the website for the 2010-2011 season, and into the future. The organization is please to have Shawn as a new member to the team.

Tracy is our Education Coordinator. She was born and raised in Decatur, IL and moved up to Rochester in 1993. Tracy hadn't seen a hockey game in her life until 5 years ago when Dawn Larson, our housing coordinator, invited her to an Ice Hawks game and she has been hooked and an avid supporter ever since. Professionally, Tracy works at Mayo Employees Federal Credit Union. She has 2 teenage sons, Justin and Jacob who love coming to cheer on the Hawks.
